Our Homebuyer Education Program has been approved as an official Education Program by the City of Fargo for participation in the Fargo Home Buyer Assistance Program. This means that participants that complete the workshop and counseling session prior to making an offer to purchase a home, along with meeting other financial and property criteria as specified by the Fargo Home Buyer Assistance Program, may be eligible for down payment and closing cost assistance.  To find out if you might be eligible for this program, speak to your local participating lender.

Approved by the City of Moorhead

Our Homebuyer Education Program has been approved as a Participating Educator by the City of Moorhead offering home buyer education classes that meet the home buyer training requirement for Moorhead housing loans. This means that participants that complete the workshop and counseling session prior to making an offer to purchase a home, along with meeting other financial and property criteria as specified by the City of Moorhead, may be eligible for special programs. Approved by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency

The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency’s HomeSmart Program offers a $100 grant to first-time homebuyers who complete an approved homebuyer education workshop. The grant may be used for closing costs or other housing expenses. Completion of an approved workshop may also qualify you for other cost reduction or incentive programs. Our educators will introduce you to additional incentive programs during the workshop. Your lender or real estate agent will also be able to provide you with information on other available programs. Family Life Credit Services’ Homebuyer Education Program is an approved Homebuyer Education/Counseling Provider for the NDHFA HomeSmart grant program. Our Homebuyer Education Workshops utilize the HomeStretch curriculum produced by the Minnesota Home Ownership Center (http://www.hocmn.org/en/index.cfm). We are an approved Homebuyer Education/Counseling Provider for a variety of homebuyer incentive programs offered by agencies in the state of Minnesota. Your workshop educator will introduce you to some of the programs available in the state of Minnesota.
