Christmas Budgets

For others it is a perfect time to plan out your Christmas Budget. It is important to make a list of everyone you wish to buy a little something for and get it down on paper. This includes secret Santa’s at the office, baked goods and Christmas parties.

Now do the math. How much do you have saved or how much can you afford to spend this holiday season without breaking your bank? Once you have established this number begin going through your list and categorizing how much you intend on spending on each person on the list. Stay within your budget! This is very important as it will dictate where you shop and how you spend your Christmas budget.

Now have a plan once you’ve established a budget. Write down some gift ideas for each of the people on the list that may fit into the budget. Be patient as you shop. There are definitely deals to be had but you have to work at them and be creative. You can have your money go a long way but it takes a bit of planning and preparation.
